STCP WELCOME TO PARIS CLINIC, Every Saturday

STCP Welcome to Paris Clinic

For this event, please remember to register at this link HERE

East Saturday in the park, STCP asks our immigration lawyer friends, other experts and our long term Parisian volunteers to help share critical information and answer questions about living and surviving in Paris.     Questions about how to get citizenship or a Carte du Séjour in France, how to get an apartment, or how to find work in Paris, or where to get free essentials for living in Paris.   Words of wisdom shared and open discussions on any question that can help our refugee community, or help our volunteers who are new to Paris.

WHERE:   Albert Schweitzer Parc, 10 rue de L’Hotel de Ville, (Line 7 Metro Pont Marie, or Line 1 Metro St. Paul).  The clinic starts at 12 noon.

At the same park, starting at 10am you have the option of going out with a group of volunteers to  join our Saturday Food distribution, our Sweep the City Activity, or our Bike Brigade (delivering food on bikes).   At 12pm we have 2 activities, our Language Exchange and our Paris Welcome Clinic designed for refugees and new volunteers to Paris.   At 1pm our integration picnic starts, along with games in the park, including badminton, ping-pong, Yoga, Molki, and Petanque.

REQUIREMENTS:
To become a Serve the City Paris Volunteer, please fill out a Volunteer Registration Form HERE

Once you fill out the form, there is a one-time 20 Euro donation required to participate in our activities, and we ask all volunteers to take a 45 minute online “Basic Volunteer Training Workshop”, scheduled at least 2x every month.

Alternatively, we ask that you consider becoming a SAVE member to work directly with our refugee community. The SAVE Member program offers training and a combination of theory and practice workshops to ensure more impactful and meaningful volunteer experiences for our volunteers.

If you are interested in becoming a SAVE Member, there are many benefits. First, you can take an unlimited number of workshops, and participate in a wide variety of exclusive SAVE Member volunteer activities and events. SAVE members also receive a certificate of benevolence for school, work or job search requirements. SAVE members also collaborate with fellow SAVE members to social impact projects.

A S.A.V.E. application must be completed. The S.A.V.E. application can be filled out at this link HERE
