Saturday Morning Volunteer Activity: Albert Schweitzer Parc, 10 Rue de l’Hôtel de ville, 75004, Paris. Just in front of the Metro 7, Pont Marie stop, or 2 minutes walk from Metro 1, St. Paul Stop

Saturday afternoon: Generator Hotel, 2nd floor conference center. Located at 9-11 Place du Colonel Fabien, 75010 Paris …Metro Louis Blanc, Line 7 or Metro Colonel Fabien, line 2).

3 DAY AGENDA:

THURSDAY EVENING:

18H-21H. Join our Global Welcome dinner at the ACP, drinks and activities (learn the STCP flash mob dance, participate in a global “Ro Sham Bo (Rock, Paper, Scissors)” Tournament (Round 1), and watch great performances by STCP volunteers.

 

FRIDAY:

Starting at 9:45am for the Global Welcome coffee and pastries, at the ACP.

10:00 -11AM Workshop: Neighborhood Transformation (Part 1 of 2).
Join experts to discuss and interact over the ideas and impact of serving and volunteering to create neighborhood transformation.

11:00-12PM: How do I? Marketplace Workshop.
Join STC leaders to participate in a “How do I” session and learn new ideas, share, and answer the questions for volunteers and NGO’s.

12PM to 14H: Lunch (included), Hangout & Connection.

14H to 16H: Global STC Plenary
Get inspired about the STC 2025 vision. The STC Board, Global Executive Team, and Global Operations Team will also share current updates and projects. Share your thoughts on the vision.

16H to 17H: Shared Social Concerns Workshop
Choose 1 of 3 topics with subject matter experts relating to environmental, humanitarian and social economic global challenges. Discuss how we can better impact these challenges locally in our cities.

19H – 22H on Friday night, we’ll meet at the Generator Hotel Roof-Top Bar (ranked one of the top 5 best roof top bars in Paris by TimeOut and Yelp), for drinks and pizza, and an opportunity to get to know your fellow STC volunteers from all over the world.

 

SATURDAY:

9:30AM to 12PM: Volunteer with Serve The City Paris
Coffee & pastries in the Albert Schweitzer Parc, before we make lunch bags and deliver them to the homeless and refugees across Paris.

12PM to 13:30H: Lunch with your volunteer team in Paris, and then return to the Generator Hotel.

13:30 to 14H: Hangout & Connection at the Generator Hotel. Round 2 of the STC Global “Ro Sham Bo (Rock, Paper, Scissors)”  Tournament.

14H-16H: Global Plenary Session 2
Get inspired about the STC 2025 vision. Hear experts on implementing the vision and join the conversation around worldwide STC case studies and stories.

16H to 17H: Neighborhood Transformation (Part 2) Workshop
Join experts to discuss and interact over the ideas and impact of serving and volunteering to create neighborhood transformation.

17H: Closing, followed by more Hangout & Connection. STC volunteers are encouraged to join other STC volunteers for drinks and/or dinner on Saturday night. (STC will provide a list of recommended restaurants, but the meals for Saturday night are not covered by STC).
