Les Gars de la Ville kicked off their 2026 season in style on the last Saturday of September.<\/p>\n

Outfitted in the team’s new uniforms – with a new look, white and navy – the team took the field with a renewed sense of brotherhood and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

Having gathered weekly for training and friendly matches over the past 8 weeks, the team felt well prepared to give the match their best effort.<\/p>\n

After taking a slow start, with the score 0- 0 after 30 minutes, the team had a fire lit, scoring just before halftime. After a motivating team talk from coaches and captains, ‘Les Gars’ came out firing in the 2nd half, winning the match 7- 0!<\/p>\n

All players were able to participate, which is always an objective, when possible, at every match. The team were even able to play a friendly match with each other and our volunteers from the American School of Paris after the match. A final bonus was celebrating team captain Faris’ birthday.<\/p>\n

The team will continue training on weeknights and competing in the FSGT league each Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
