Message is arranging a walk-a-thon to raise funds for STC!
Message is a group of mothers and fathers in Paris with members from over 60 countries. Message started in 1984 with a few young English-speaking mothers wanting to connect with others for support in raising their children while living away from local customs, traditions and family. In the past 36 years, it has grown into a vibrant and thriving community of parents who continue, year after year, to support one another, share openly, forge new friendships, and build bright futures for our families in France.
On Sunday June 29th they’re arranging a walk-a-thon to raise money for Serve the City, and our volunteers are of course welcome to join. The walk will cover a route of 5KM that will take us all over the beautiful Parc de St. Cloud. We will be meeting at the Grille de la Manufacture de Sevres 92210.
After the walk there will be a celebratory picnic!
How to join:
Register for this event here and Message will send you your registration form, the walking route and the pledge sheet. Exact meeting point will be sent to the registrants.
Once you’re registered, find sponsors or donors who will pledge a certain amount for every KM walked during the event. Fill up the pledge sheet with the details of your sponsors and their pledges.
After the event, collect the pledged amount and turn in your donations. All donations need to be turned in by July 5, 2025.
