Serve the City Paris Online Workshop Series Presents…

“Europe & the Refugee Crisis, The Story 1”
Our world has witnessed the largest migration of people since World War II. Millions have been forcibly displaced from their homes, creating a humanitarian crisis across the globe.

This workshop is part of our SAVE network initiative dedicated to our members. However, it is also opened to those who are interested to learn more about the topic. We encourage 20euros donations to support our cause if you have yet joined the network: https://save.servethecity.paris/donate.

During this session, we will look briefly at Europe’s response to the refugee crisis. We will discuss the ‘push factors’ that have forced millions to flee from their home countries, the challenges they face once they arrive in Europe, & what we as a community can do to support those who’ve migrated to our cities.

What is S.A.V.E. Member Program?

The S.A.V.E. Member Program is designed to make us more impactful volunteers and to make our volunteer experiences more meaningful. SAVE offers a combination of theory (online workshops) and practice (volunteer activities) and projects where you are able to collaborate with other like-minded volunteers to become more empowered as a change-agent in today’s society.

Once you become a SAVE Member, you will work closely with other SAVE members and our leadership team on what we call social impact “Capstone Projects”. You will also have the opportunity to join any of our monthly SAVE workshops free of charge whenever you like. You will be invited to our exclusive SAVE member workshops, member-only volunteer activities, and social initiatives.

Each SAVE member also receives a Certificate of Completion, and a personalized Letter of Testimonial for your CV, school credit, or work upon request.
