The workshop is called « Humanity’s Violence Against Itself », featuring renowned artist Brian Maguire, who will talk about his paintings that directly confront issues of migration, displacement, and human dignity in the face of the current global unrest.
Brian Maguire expressionist paintings address issues of social injustice and malfunction. His art has been shown extensively in Europe, US, Korea, China and Japan He was appointed Professor of the Fine Art Faculty of the National College of Art and Design in 2000 and is an elected member of Aosdána.
