You are all invited to join us on Sunday, May 28th to participate with the Serve The City S.A.V.E. team and other STCP volunteers in an activity for young kids who live in the Paris, 75019.

The purpose of this event is create a fun activity for young kids who will participate in the Paris 19eme “Foire aux Enfants”, organized by the 19eme Arrondissement Ville de Paris.

The event starts at 11am at 92 bis Quai de la Loire, 75019 Paris.   The Foire aux Enfants continues until 16H (…stay as long as you wish!)

Serve The City Paris will have a booth and the activity we are planning for the kids is to have the kids play a live version of checkers.

….“kids will break into teams of 4 and compete on a large custom made checker board, wearing either a red or white t-shirt representing their team.

Prior to the game, we’ll briefly talk about the historical background of checkers as a learning exercise and then explain the rules and divide kids in teams.

The S.A.V.E. Team can use your help to run the activity if you are interested in volunteering.  If you are available on this coming Sunday, please contact  @francescabenucci on Telegram, and click on this link to register.

The event will start at 11am but we will meet earlier to set up our booth around 10am.
