Serve the City has long experience of working with companies and organisations delivering corporate volunteering where your team spends the day (half day) helping the vulnerable in our society.

This can be on practical or social projects where your drive, knowledge and expertise can make a difference to people’s lives.

Example

Volunteer in a home for vulnerable people, spending time with the Elderly and Children, playing games, helping with learning, running a beauty session and being socially engaged.

Example

Making sandwiches together as a team; then giving the sandwiches, plus fruit and water to the homeless on the streets, whilst at the same time engaging the homeless as human beings, by talking to them, listening to their stories and knowing them by name.

Example

Volunteer in a centre for abuse victims, doing practical tasks such as fixing, cleaning and painting so that the centre becomes a more positive environment to live in.

Example

Making care packages full of essentials, such as tinned food, fruit, clothing and washing materials and delivering the packages direct to the homeless or to centres for the vulnerable.
