This week we have part 2 of our New Volunteer Training. If you missed New Volunteer Training Part 1, still feel free to join us this Tuesday night at Columbia University at 19H, (outdoors in the courtyard possibly or in the room “Maison Verte”)

This workshop is designed for all STCP volunteers, but with a specific focus on those who are continuing their graduate studies, transitioning from an academic environment to a career, or individuals who have recently started their career.

Part 2 of the new volunteer training at STCP is an interactive workshop that answers the curious questions related life’s challenges of volunteering while pursuing a career, or living in a culture that promotes different objectives, different obligations, and the typical professional livelihood.

We discuss as a group about how having a balanced lifestyle can help us in our careers, our relationships and our overall internal happiness. We also discuss what steps we can take in our life to avoid compromising our core values.

The workshop is facilitated by Tom WILSCAM, the Managing Director of Serve The City Paris. Tom has over 8 years of experience in leadership coaching, career planning and philanthropy. His biography with more details can be found at this link:

This workshop is held at Columbia University, 4 Rue de Chevreuse, 75006 Paris. (metro 4, stop Vavin). When you arrive at Columbia University, there is a blue door. Press the intercom button and say you are here for a STCP Workshop. Enter the courtyard and we are in the “Maison Verte”.
