Being a change-agent means actively engaging in initiatives and actions that contribute to positive transformation in society. It involves recognizing existing challenges, injustices, or disparities and taking proactive steps to address them. As someone passionate about public service and humanitarian efforts, being a change-agent embodies my commitment to leveraging my skills, experiences, and resources to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. |

I was motivated to join SAVE Paris for the organization’s dedication to serving asylum seekers, refugees, and the homeless in Paris. Studying abroad in Paris, I was looking for an opportunity to engage with the community. Having been living in Paris for a couple of months now, I’ve had the privilege to immerse myself in its diverse communities and witness firsthand the complexities of migration. From exploring neighborhoods with rich immigrant histories to engaging in discussions on European immigration policies, my time in Paris has deepened my understanding of the cultural and societal impacts of immigration. Building on this experience, I was excited to join SAVE Paris as a member and contribute with others who value public service and have a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the world; SAVE’s mission deeply resonates with me.
