S.A.V.E. Capstone Project Workshop
Session Description:
In this workshop, we discuss how to do a S.A.V.E. Capstone Project for the city of Paris.
S.A.V.E. Capstone Projects are is all about engaging in a process of creating a unique insight, idea, or action that leads to positive social change in Paris.
Once you become a S.A.V.E. member you might find you have a personal desire to do more for our society and the city of Paris. Through a creative process and guided framework, the S.A.V.E. program offers a volunteer the ability to work on a social impact project (your own or others), by collaborating with other volunteers on ideas for social impact, or to improve existing S.T.C.P. volunteer projects.
During this workshop, we will discuss how to design our own capstone project and how to transfer a concept in our head into a tangible event. We will share stories about previous, successful Capstone Projects and hear about new ideas for this month and beyond.

What is the S.A.V.E. Program?
The S.A.V.E. (Service. Action. Values. Empowerment) program is designed to help us all become better, more engaged volunteers through both practice and theory. The program consists of monthly online and face-to-face workshops, volunteer activities and special initiatives in Paris, and events to promote collaboration with like-minded volunteers.
SAVE participants gain knowledge and insight about the people we serve, our environment, social challenges, and case studies of proven solutions that resulted in change or impact.

Hundreds of Serve the City Volunteers have become S.A.V.E. program participants and we encourage all our new volunteers to join the program to connect with other S.T.C.P volunteers to make change, and to make impact in Paris.

There is no fee to join the S.A.V.E. program, but there is a 10-euro monthly donation to volunteer with Serve the City Paris. These monthly donations are recorded as a tax-free deductible donation, and 100% of the donation goes towards the administration and support of all Serve the City humanitarian programs, activities, courses and expenses related to humanitarian needs.
